Enrolment

Prospective students for the pre-semester course in the History of Copenhagen w/Danish language can either enrol as exchange students (for example Erasmus + students) or as fee-paying guest students.

Exchange students (no fee)

If you have been nominated by your home university as an exchange student (for example Erasmus+ students) at the University of Copenhagen, you can take the pre-semester course free of charge.

To select the course, choose the subject “Pre-semester History of Copenhagen” when completing your online application. The course runs in August for those starting in the autumn semester and January for students starting in the spring semester.

The course is exempt from the max - 35 ECTS per semester rule, meaning you can take it even if you have a full schedule of courses for the semester.

If you did not select the course in your online application and you still want to take it, please contact the admission.

Fee-paying guest students

You can also take the pre-semester course as a fee-paying guest student at the university.

Application deadlines for guest students are 1 April (first round) and 1 June (second round, if there are available places).

For further information on how to apply as a guest student, check summer school and tuition fees.
