How to apply as a guest student

If you are a student from the EU/EEA/Swiss region, who does not apply through an exchange aggreement with University of Copenhagen or alternatively wish to take part-time studies as a proffesional, you can find all relevant information on applying as a guest student through this website.

A tuition fee is required to attend courses at University of Copenhagen as a guest student. This format is also relevant for any English-speaking Danish citizens and non-EU citizens with permanent or temporary residence permit in Denmark.

Non-EU Citizen

If you are a student from outside of the EU/EEA/Swiss region and do not have Danish citizenship or a valid residence permit in Denmark you can apply as a guest student through this website:

https://studies.ku.dk/exchange/admission/guest-students/non-eu-eea-guest-students/

Non-EU citizens must apply for full-time studies, otherwise they will not be granted a residence permit.

Danish Citizen
